Ah, OK. I had Nautilus 2.12.2-2 still installed. Now that I've
upgraded to 2.14, I can't reproduce this bug any more. Perhaps
there should be an extra dependency in there somewhere? It's
not quite clear to me where, since when I upgraded nautilus with
apt-get, several other packages were upgraded:

I don't have a nautilus-actions subdirectory under ~/.gconf. If
I run gconf-editor there is an app/nautilus-actions section,
however. It looks as if the nautilus-actions XML is in
~/.gconf/%gconf-tree.xml instead. Anyway, gconftool-2 -R
/apps/nautilus-actions gives:
