Hi Scott, I'm following up on this. I'm a bit puzzled, because while libdar-dev doesn't directly depend on the packages you name, libdar64-6000t64 does. I wonder if there is something odd about the pkg-config output on your system, or your system itself? Can you replicate it on current sid?
