After updating from: 1.20.2-3 to 1.21.0-1 font rendering is very different. Fonts looks more bold and not as readable as earlier looks like more blurrier.
Try making a screenshot of black-on-white text and comparing the subpixel rendering to the v1.20
Also what is your screen orientation and the value of `rgba` property in your fontconfig settings?
