Dear maintainer:

[ Note: fakeroot has been build-essential de-facto for a long time, but the
  recent changes in dpkg have actually made it not to be build-essential.
  Now sbuild installs fakeroot when it checks that it's needed to build the
package.
  However, if the package itself uses fakeroot, as in this case, then it is
justified
  for this build-dependency to be explicit ]

During a rebuild of all packages in unstable, your package failed to build:

-ffile-prefix-map=/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>=. -fstack-protector-strong

chkshsgr chkshsgr.o
fakeroot ./chkshsgr || ( cat warn-shsgr; exit 1 )
/bin/sh: 1: fakeroot: not found
Oops. Your getgroups() returned 0, and setgroups() failed; this means
that I can't reliably do my shsgr test. Please either ``make'' as root
or ``make'' while you're in one or more supplementary groups.

The above is just how the build ends and not necessarily the most relevant part.
If required, the full build log is available here:

https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202503/

About the archive rebuild: The build was made on virtual machines from AWS,
using sbuild and a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages.

If you could not reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I
am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is
fully reproducible.

If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use
reassign and add an affects on src:ucspi-tcp, so that this is still
visible in the BTS web page for this package.

Thanks.
