Package: shtool Version: 2.0.8-10 Severity: normal Tags: pending Dear Maintainer,
I'd like to ask for a new release of shtool on Debian, including the multi-arch line in debian/control. The hint appears in tracker.debian.org, and has already been committed to salsa.debian.org around 2 years ago, but was never released. That line not being there prevents php8.4-dev (and older versions, which also depend on shtool) to be installed using the foreign architecture on multi-arch systems - I verified it with php8.4-dev:arm64 on an amd64 system. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.8.0-40-generic (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_FIRMWARE_WORKAROUND, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages shtool depends on: ii perl 5.40.1-2 shtool recommends no packages.
