See https://discourse.gnome.org/t/gnome-online-accounts-to-remove-window-live-by-gnome-49/27662 Ubuntu doesn't yet have evolution-ews-core in main so I guess Ubuntu 25.04 wouldn't want that patch in their version of this package. One disadvantage of this whole system is that GNOME provides no migration between account types. The newer Microsoft options seem like they would be maintained for longer though so it still may be the right choice for Trixie. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
