Thanks for the report!  I was able to reproduce without too much
trouble, and the fixes were pretty easy, so I've got a new patch
staged in Git that fixes it so it can be uploaded sometime after the
Trixie release.

(If I forget, anyone reading this should feel free to do the upload
post-Trixie; all I ask is that you do the s/UNRELEASED/unstable/ + git
