Package: opencubicplayer-doc Version: 1:0.2.101+ds-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
what is the purpose of the opencubicplayer-doc package? It seems to be completely empty apart from the changelog and copyright information: $ dpkg -L opencubicplayer-doc /. /usr /usr/share /usr/share/doc /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer-doc /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer-doc/changelog.Debian.gz /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer-doc/changelog.gz /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer-doc/copyright These files are exact duplicates of those in the opencubicplayer package. The only small difference is the package name itself in changelog.Debian.gz: $ diff -Narup <(zcat /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer/changelog.Debian.gz) <(zcat /usr/share/doc/opencubicplayer-doc/changelog.Debian.gz) --- /dev/fd/63 2025-03-13 23:53:48.091599412 +0100 +++ /dev/fd/62 2025-03-13 23:53:48.091599412 +0100 @@ -156,4 +156,4 @@ ocp (1:0.2.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium -- Gürkan Myczko <gur...@phys.ethz.ch> Thu, 28 Nov 2019 08:58:19 +0100 # Older entries have been removed from this changelog. -# To read the complete changelog use `apt changelog opencubicplayer`. +# To read the complete changelog use `apt changelog opencubicplayer-doc`.
