lua-ldap as it ships in Debian stable (12.9/Bookworm) contains an

My workaround last year (sorry, I forgot to file at the time it would
seem) was to install 1.3.1 which was presumably in testing at the time.
Since testing is now in 1.4.x and in sticking to the staying on the same
branch in a Debian release principle it would still seem the correct
procedure to update lua-ldap to the last 1.3.x version available (1.3.1)
and not leave it on a beta release.
I uploaded lua-ldap_1.4.0-1~bpo12+1 to bookworm-backports. It has to go through
the NEW queue.
Hey Victor,
Thanks for your work!
Just a minor question - should the update not be in the main repo and
not backports since the package in the main repo does not work and
backports is not enabled by default?
Thanks again!
