Package: libvte-2.91-0 Version: 0.78.3-3 Followup-For: Bug #1091445 Dear Maintainer,
I solved my Compose problem. Vte terminals compose flawlessly now. In my plasma6 settings => "virtual keyboard" was set up to "ibus wayland" Setting the "virtual keyboard" to "none" solve the issue. Note that ibus-wayland was NOT installed but ibus was running Not sure who is the culprit between plasma or ibus and what is the problem. - missing dependencies in packages - default configuration settings in plasma6 - partial ibus installation I believe the culprit is not libvte, thus you may close the bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.13-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr:en_US Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libvte-2.91-0 depends on: ii libatk1.0-0t64 2.55.2-1 ii libc6 2.40-7 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.18.2-2 ii libcairo2 1.18.2-2 ii libfribidi0 1.0.16-1 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-17 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.83.3-2 ii libgnutls30t64 3.8.9-2 ii libgtk-3-0t64 3.24.48-4 ii libicu72 72.1-6 ii liblz4-1 1.10.0-3 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.56.1-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.56.1-1 ii libpcre2-8-0 10.45-1 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-17 ii libsystemd0 257.3-1 ii libvte-2.91-common 0.78.3-3 libvte-2.91-0 recommends no packages. libvte-2.91-0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
