Dear PAM maintainer,
since version 1.7.0-1 lintian complains about
libpam-modules: hardening-no-fortify-functions
[usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/security/pam_limits.so]
I'm reporting this as a bug because d/libpam-modules.lintian-overrides
states for other hardening-no-fortify-functions warnings:
These are false positives because they don't use any functions that
need fortifying. Since we know we have hardening turned on globally,
suppress them. If we ever see this warning again for *other* modules,
then we know there's a real problem.
Is pam_limits.so to be considered a false positive like the others?
