Hi, I did some tests using dracut 106 and Debian trixie and FAI 6.2.6. Booting via PXE using a read-only root fs via NFS and putting an overlayfs on top now works.
We can remove 90overlay-root in the future but I still have to do some adjustments in FAI before the switch to overlayfs. -- regards Thomas
