Package: qtchooser Version: 66-2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: urs_flei...@yahoo.de
Dear Maintainer, I noticed that on Debian Trixie with QT_SELECT=6 set, qmake is complaining "qmake: could not find a Qt installation of '6'" because qtchooser does not know Qt 6. The only thing which would be needed is to add 6.conf and qt6.conf files in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qtchooser/, which is done in debian/rules. In Debian Trixie, it would probably be better to have Qt 6 as the default rather then 5 (i.e. "qtchooser -qt=default -print-env" should print variables for Qt 6). -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.11-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages qtchooser depends on: ii libc6 2.40-6 ii libgcc-s1 [libgcc1] 14.2.0-12 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-12 qtchooser recommends no packages. qtchooser suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
