Thanks so much for the direction on how to properly close bugs. No idea where I 
got that my info from.

Regarding changing the subject line, I did not change it intentionally. I 
replied to this bug via the web interface at bugs.debian.org ( 
http://bugs.debian.org/ ) so the automatically generated subject line became 
`Re: Bug#1036035: bug 1036035` in response to the 2nd post ` *Subject:* bug 
1036035`

I appreciate what you are saying though. I will be more mindful in the future 
since it makes perfect sense.

But overall It seems like there is an improvement we can make to how the reply 
mailto links work in bugs.debian.org ( http://bugs.debian.org/ ) because anyone 
clicking on the reply link will run into the same issue that happened here.
