Hi,

I've found system-tools-backends in the set of candidates for the Bug of
the Day that are using cdbs. Since cdbs is orphaned[1] its IMHO a good
reason to migrate to dh. I did so in a feshly created repository inside
the Debian/ team[2]. I have checked that the resulting packages are
identical to the cdbs build using debdiff.

Given the fact that the package was last time NMUed and otherwise not
uploaded for nearly nine years it would simplify maintenance if it were
maintained in Debian/ team. Please let me know if uploading the current
status of the repository[2] as a team upload is fine for you. I will
wait 21 days for your permission (as per Salvage procedure rules) and if
I will not hear from you I will upload to delayed = 10.

Kind regards
    Andreas.
