It's very possible that I will not be able to do something about this bug for a while. I'm very busy this week and am going to be away this weekend at a cross country ski race.
If a Debian developer is really anxious, go ahead and do a non-maintainer upload (NMU). Either keep an eye on a fix from upstream, or revert to upstreams 0.8.1.51, or follow Roland's patch reverse suggestion that's filed in this bug report somewhere. If nobody does anything, I'll take care of this when I have chance but that may be a while. Don't let me be a bottleneck if you are motivated to do an NMU.
