Package: meterbridge Version: 0.9.2-13+b1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Apparently, meterbridge can be used with pipewire-jack which allows replacing a Jack server with pipewire. Thus, the dependency on jackd could be softened, IMHO. Maybe this could be handled globally by pipewire-jack providing some kind of jack-daemon / jackd replacement in dpkg... Hope this makes sense, and helps. In the meantime, it's possible to install with dpkg --ignore-depends, but that's largely suboptimal.
