Every time I run leaktracer it segfaults instantly. By chasing d/watch -> http://www.andreasen.org/LeakTracer > Oct 2011 UPDATE: Frédéric Germain has setup a Github page containing > all the below patches and additional new features, > see: https://github.com/fredericgermain/LeakTracer. > This is the newest version; > all the below source code and documentation are of historic interest only. -> https://github.com/fredericgermain/LeakTracer I was able to obtain (last meaningfully touched in around 2013, and last physically touched in 2017). This version builds and runs successfully. It doesn't produce meaningful results, however, since it doesn't trace reallocarray() (and probably others, but that's the most obvious one), and lists other allocations that aren't leaks as leaks. I can't validate which ones and where because the output decoders (there's two now) don't seem to work /at all/. The command-line interface has also changed between the version we ship currently and the new one. The popcon is inst=455 (vote=12 old=442 recent=1). The huge inst count is a side-effect of some dependency from 2013 (since removed, there's no rdeps); the "real" popcon is low. The package keeps receiving emergency maintenance by NMU; the last maintainer upload was in 2016.
