Package: pfm Version: 2.0.8-3 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: mhaag85...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, Cannot connect to a PostgreSQL database running on the localhost. Receive error message, "invalid command name "pg_connect'". There is no such package available with Debian 12. So, it looks like a dependency is missing. Understand package pfm has been replaced by PostSqlForms which is still available on SourceForge. Since there are other options available (LibreOffice Base, Kexi, etc.), it might be easiest to remove package pfm from the archives. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.8 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-28-rt-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages pfm depends on: ii itcl3 3.4.4-2 ii libpgtcl 1:3.0.0-1 ii postgresql-client 17+267.pgdg120+1 ii postgresql-client-15 [postgresql-client] 15.10-1.pgdg120+1 ii postgresql-client-16 [postgresql-client] 16.6-1.pgdg120+1 ii postgresql-client-17 [postgresql-client] 17.2-1.pgdg120+1 ii sensible-utils 0.0.17+nmu1 ii tcl 8.6.13 ii tk 8.6.13 pfm recommends no packages.
