This is tracked upstream and I’ve linked their bug report. As for the __blocking__ nature of the bug I’m not sure what you mean by that but it’s nowhere near an issue for which we can block or delay a Debian release. So hopefully upstream fixes this before the trixie release and if it comes early enough we’ll package the updated plasma components. But otherwise we will release without it.
