Dear Maintainer,

Including the schema from https://github.com/credativ/postfix-ldap-schema
preferable in /etc/ldap/schema/postfix-ldap/postfix-ldap.schema would aassist
users of postfix-ldap.

Alternatively, I could package the schema - as postfix-ldap-schema, which I
would then Recommend schema2ldif and try to automate the installation a bit
Hi!

What's the rationale behind using a postfix-specific LDAP schema anyway?

Usually when you've a networking users database somewhere, it is a part
of a larger infrastructure, and an MTA is configured to use whatever
infrastructure is already there. There's rarely a need to have some
specific schema especially for email without having tools and other
parts of infrastructure to manage it. If you've a small site, it is
usually sufficient to use local files for email accounts, without a
need for LDAP or other networking solutions (sql, whatever).

This is exactly the reason postfix never provided its own schema for
LDAP or SQL user database, - it is kind of pointless to have one
without all other parts.

Thanks,

/mjt
