Hi Satadru I have got quick response from Burton that is one of the upstream developers of ntop.
Unfortunatly the gdb trace did not get anything... But he ask you to run ntop with "-t 4" or higher so if you could do that it would be nice. See below what Burton writes for more information about this. Please reply directly to Burton, me and the bug number. Reply to all would give that result.
