Hi. Thanks for the patch, but there is a small detail which I would like to see fixed first:
According to the autopkgtests philosophy, the programs that should be tested are the ones from the already existing diffutils.deb package in the archive, not the ones which are just built from the source. So the proposed patch is not acceptable in its current form. Ideally, I'd like to use the existing tests in the source code but with as small as possible modifications so that the installed version are tested instead. Thanks.
