Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.54.0-1 Severity: normal Running stock GNOME desktop.
Open GNOME terminal, which opens 80x24 as it should. Maximize by clicking the icon in the title bar. Un-maximize by clicking the icon in the title bar. The window is no longer 80x24, it's smaller. I tried this a second time and was able to reproduce the issue, but the second time the window ended up a _different_ non-80x24 size, so the behavior isn't even consistent. This must have broken relatively recently. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.11.7-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii dbus-user-session [default-dbus-session-bus] 1.14.10-6 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-4+b3 ii gnome-terminal-data 3.54.0-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 47.1-1 ii libatk1.0-0t64 2.54.0-1 ii libc6 2.40-3 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-8 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.82.2-2 ii libgtk-3-0t64 3.24.43-4 ii libhandy-1-0 1.8.3-1+b2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.54.0+ds-3 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-8 ii libuuid1 2.40.2-11 ii libvte-2.91-0 0.78.1-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.8.10-2 Versions of packages gnome-terminal recommends: ii gvfs 1.56.1-1 ii nautilus-extension-gnome-terminal 3.54.0-1 ii yelp 42.2-1+b3 gnome-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
