Since then, it has undergone 3 NMU and has currently 4 open bugs, including one asking to package the last upstream version (#929265), which has been open since 2019. I intend to put the package under the Debian-Science team and to be its uploader. I will proceed after the 11th of November if the salvaging process is not stopped by then.
