Wait, what? The last open issue is from 2016. It has a long discussion, which basically ended up in “reporter isn't answering anymore”. There are two feature requests against upstream that I've chosen to keep open. Why do you think this package is abandoned? Note that mpm-itk upstream (which is myself) is basically in maintenance mode, pretty much like the rest of Apache -- no new features are being developed.
