Package: opendmarc Version: 1.4.2-5 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Installing opendmarc and using dpkg-reconfigure to create the database doesn't work with using empty database user passwords to let it create a random one. |Please provide a password for opendmarc to register with the database server. If left blank, a random password will be generated.MySQL application password for opendmarc: I keep this blank. It then asks for the password again to confirm it (shouldn't this only appear when entering a real password?). I leave this empty. Then I get the message that the passwords mismatch. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.10.3-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages opendmarc depends on: ii adduser 3.137 ii dbconfig-mysql 2.0.24 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.87 ii init-system-helpers 1.66 ii libc6 2.39-6 ii libmilter1.0.1 8.18.1-6 ii libopendmarc2t64 1.4.2-5 ii publicsuffix 20231001.0357-0.1 Versions of packages opendmarc recommends: ii libdbd-mysql-perl 4.052-1+b2 ii libdbi-perl 1.645-1 ii libhttp-message-perl 6.46-1 ii libjson-perl 4.10000-1 ii libswitch-perl 2.17-3 ii perl 5.38.2-5 Versions of packages opendmarc suggests: pn libmime-tools-perl <none> pn libxml-simple-perl <none> pn python <none> pn python-mysqldb <none> -- debconf information excluded
