After downgrading back to 2.12r-8 it works again like expected. No syslog
messages concerning this problem on neither the FreeBSD machine nor
my Debian Sid PC.
FreeBSD version of the NFS server is FreeBSD 5.4-RELEAE.
Let me know if you need any further details.
Could you capture the traffic with tcpdump, so that we can see what is
actually being sent back and forth?
Really strange, I cannot reproduce it any longer. Maybe because I
rebooted the FreeBSD machine in the meantime. So I now can(!) mount the
NFS shares even with 2.12r-10 - which didn't work yesterday. Maybe it
was related to the FreeBSD machine having an issue or something. If it
does not happen again in the next days it was probably an one-off - and
we/you can close the bug...
Kind regards, Joerg
