As with every 6-month GNOME Shell release cycle, extensions will need to be updated for GNOME Shell 47, which is currently being prepared in experimental. A porting guide is available here: https://gjs.guide/extensions/upgrading/gnome-shell-47.html It might be as simple as adding 47 to the list of supported versions in metadata.json, or it might require more involved code changes. GNOME 47 is expected to be the version that is shipped in the Debian 13 'trixie' stable release. There does not seem to have been any work upstream yet on GNOME 46 support. If not updated, this extension will have to be removed from testing for the GNOME Shell 47 transition in late 2024. This bug will be raised to serious severity when the transition is ready to go ahead. smcv
