since shntool came up in the Bug of the Day[1] I tried to apply all patches provided and close according bugs. Unfortunately your patch does not apply to the latest upstream version any more. If you are continuously interested in this feature it would be great if you would provide a MR to the repository on Salsa[2]. Otherwise please tag the bug `wontfix`.
