Package: mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail Version: 2:0.90.0-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Enigmail menu and toolbar buttons are present but encrypted/signed mail is not decrypted/verified. Additionally, mail that is specified to be encrypted/signed is neither encrypted nor signed. This could cause a very critical lapse in security as messages with sensitive data that should be encrypted are sent in plain text and there is no notification to the user that enigmail has failed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-p4-mppe Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail depends on: ii gnupg 1.2.5-3 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii mozilla-thunderbird 1.0-3 Mozilla Thunderbird standalone mai -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
