Nexuiz Classic has not had an upstream developer for well over 10 years. Any bugs are unlikely to be fixed, other than minimal fixes for build failures if someone gets round to it. This also affects the maintenance status of fteqcc: the only reason for fteqcc to be in the archive is so that we can compile nexuiz-data, so nobody is likely to update fteqcc and risk breaking the build of nexuiz-data without good reason. Xonotic (RFP: https://bugs.debian.org/646377) is a fork of Nexuiz Classic which would make a good replacement. I do not intend to maintain Xonotic myself, but others in the Games Team who are more interested in multiplayer games than I am would be welcome to do so. smcv
