Package: fontconfig
Version: 2.3.2-5.1
Severity: normal
fontconfig does not currently detect whether a type 1 font is fixed
width. A glance at the top of a type 1 font file makes it clear that
information is present ('isFixedPitch' is set to 'true'), along with a
lot of other information that fontconfig _does_ detect. Why is this
missing?
(Sample font exhibiting problem: SFTT1000.pfb from the cm-super
package)
Peace,
Dylan Thurston
