Package: python3-gitlab Version: 1:4.3.0-1 Severity: normal When using pip in a `--system-site-packages` venv, I get this warning:
WARNING: Skipping /usr/lib/python3.12/dist-packages/python_gitlab-4.3.0.dist-info due to invalid metadata entry 'name' I also get one for python3-tqdm, but that has already been fixed in unstable (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077191). These two are the only packages that install files to /usr/lib/python3.12/dist-packages/ on my system. I'd guess that applying the same fix as for https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077191 should resolve this. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (990, 'stable-security'), (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.9.9-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CPU_OUT_OF_SPEC, TAINT_USER Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python3-gitlab depends on: ii python3 3.12.3-1 ii python3-requests 2.31.0+dfsg-2 ii python3-requests-toolbelt 1.0.0-2 python3-gitlab recommends no packages.
