You could scan the crypttab on nōn-systemd services for devices
with “initramfs” in the last field, and/or offer an /etc/defaults/
file where one could list their crypt devices to check (the raw
names, i.e. something like /dev/sda2, LABEL=foo or UUID=foo) and
then iterate over them with:
cryptsetup --test-passphrase luksOpen $device
