Package: udisks2 Version: 2.10.1-7 Severity: wishlist Debian changed to upstream default of using `/run/media` to just `/media`. Someone on #-devel inquired why and reported this causes problems with read-only root filesystems.
I don't see any reason not to follow the upstream default of `/run/media`? There can still be a compat symlink `/media` → `/run/media` which should be sufficient for FHS compatibility. As an added bonus, this would automatically clean `/media` of unused mount points upon reboot. (I have no idea if also other packages use `/media` and might need changes.) Ansgar
