Do you have the whole output ? dgit itself doesn't have that "unable to write file" message in its source code. Whatever printed that message doesn't seem to have included the errno. I tried your runes but with dgit --quilt=linear -wgf --delayed=15 --damp-run push and it seemed to work for me. The package seems quite large. I hate to ask but ... are you perhaps out of disk space?
