Package: python3-ldap3 Version: 2.9.1-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
according to Python documentation, the python-ldap module should contain ldif module with functions such as LDIFParser, LDIFWrite etc. As of Debian packages, the former python-ldap did support this functionality. However, its successor python3-ldap3 does not. Attempt to call the module leads to error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'ldif' -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=sk_SK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sk_SK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python3-ldap3 depends on: ii python3 3.11.2-1+b1 ii python3-pyasn1 0.4.8-3 python3-ldap3 recommends no packages. python3-ldap3 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
