Hi, I just manage to reproduce the bug with electricsheep 2.6.5-1 on a fresh up-to-date etch system.
I then installed my 2.6.6-1 package and try again: it worked.
I can now confirm that as I supposed, that bug is closed in 2.6.6-1.
Philipp, can you upload the package I gave you (2.6.6-1) for review?
