We are interested in contributing to the Debian project, particularly in terms of mirroring in Brazil. We have noticed that some Brazilian mirrors have been deactivated recently, and we would like to offer our support to fill this gap. We would like to clarify some doubts regarding the server setup for the mirror. Specifically, we are uncertain about the correct source for data synchronization. We are currently considering using RSYNC_HOST="ftp.br.debian.org", but would like to confirm if this is the recommended option, or if we should use "ftp.debian.org" or another source. Could you possibly provide an example of the configuration or guidelines to ensure we are proceeding correctly? We appreciate any guidance you can provide and look forward to contributing to the Debian Project.
