Package: libsvga1
Version: 1.4.3-22

Linux knopper 2.4.18-xfs #4 SMP Die Mär 5 01:28:14 CET 2002 i586 GNU/Linux
I run Debian etch Linux.
libc6 version 2.3.6-7

My video chipset (integrated into the motherboard on my
computer), as specified in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf is

Section "Device"
        Identifier "trident CyberBlade/i7"

and works fine.

Until the last week or so, I was using mplayer with
svgalib, adjusted to use the VESA in the /etc/vga/libvga.config
and it worked great, with no need for X.
Recently it began failing, giving a segmentation fault,
never showing any video at all.
The VGA setting still works (and I think TVGA also, but I can't tell
any difference in the results.), as does mplayer with the X11 driver
in X, and aalib as well.
