Hi,
the amule-utils package currently Depends: amule | amule-daemon.
However, the package can perfectly work without either of those
installed in the local host, e.g. if connecting to a remote host with
amulecmd. The similar package amule-utils-gui gets this right, so seems
something went wrong with the debian/control stanza of amule-utils. :)
