Hi Joel, Thanks for fixing this bug in the upstream ccache repo [1].
Do you plan on doing a new upstream release? If not, we could work around this failure by adding "Restrictions: allow-stderr" to debian/test/control. Apologies for not doing an MR. I couldn't locate a branch for 4.9-1 under salsa Debian/ccache. But I do have a reference branch on Ubuntu / noble [2].
