I ran some simple tests on your 58512.jpg image using recoverjpeg. It is
true that the reconstructed image is lacking 58512 bytes, but:
- pictures are identical (a conversion from both pictures to PNG do
not have a single different pixel)
- exif data is *exactly the same* (attached to this mail) except the
filename
What other data could you be missing? recoverjpeg reconstructs the image
by looking at the JPEG structure; if your MAXXUM 5D is adding
proprietary information at the end of the JPEG file (which is possible
given that a JPEG parser will stop at the end of the picture) there is
nothing I can do for this data :)
