Dear unicode maintainer,
you can find a DEP-14-compliant git repository with the history of the
unicode package at
https://salsa.debian.org/gioele/unicode
Could you please adopt it as the reference git repository for the Debian
packaging of unicode (not as the upstream repo) by forking the repo on
salsa.d.o, and then using "Settings" → "General" → "Remove fork
relationship"?
Alternatively I could help moving it to the debian/ shared namespace on
salsa.debian.org, if your prefer that.
