Package: libasound2 Version: 1.0.11-6 Applications that depend on libasound2 now run rather than crash, as they did with 1.0.11-5, but with no sound. The last few lines of output from running alsamixer are:
Running update-modules... Loading driver... Setting default volumes... ALSA lib control.c:816:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory
and with alsactl
