Package: accountsservice Version: 23.13.9-5 Severity: minor I get entries like
accounts-daemon[1147]: Language 'C.utf8' set for user X is invalid in the journalctl output. This is probably because I have the LANG environment variable set to "C.UTF-8". But this is a valid locale. Note also that doing "dpkg-reconfigure locales" and choosing C.UTF-8 also has the effect to set LANG=C.UTF-8 in /etc/default/locale. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'proposed-updates-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages accountsservice depends on: ii dbus [default-dbus-system-bus] 1.14.10-3 ii libaccountsservice0 23.13.9-5 ii libc6 2.37-13 ii libglib2.0-0 2.78.3-1 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 123-3 Versions of packages accountsservice recommends: ii libpam-systemd [logind] 254.5-1 ii polkitd 123-3 Versions of packages accountsservice suggests: ii gnome-control-center 1:45.2-1 -- no debconf information -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <https://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <https://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / AriC project (LIP, ENS-Lyon)
