This is no longer reproducible with xpdf 3.04+git20220601-1 (3.04+git20220601-1+b2). Either this was fixed in xpdf or the cause of the bug was due to something else on my system (some X library?). > It seems to be the only part of xpdf still affected by the -font > option.
