Package: devscripts Version: 2.9.19 Severity: wishlist Don has been using some newfangled /forcemerge/ command, for which documentation will presumably be released shortly (along with blocking); devscripts should support it, either with its own forcemerge command, or with a --force option, which would cause all "merge" commands to be mapped into "forcemerge"; this would be useful if there are lots of bugs to be merged, but not merged into the same merge set. Then again, it could be considered "dangerous", and command abbreviation exists anyway (and there are even no other commands beginning with 'f' ... yet!).
Presumably it is something to the effect of: forcemerge a b... Where 'a' is the bug whose attributes are to be copied to the bug list given by "b...", necessary for a normal "merge" to work. Or perhaps there is no copying of attributes, and the order doesn't matter. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
