OK, no my fault! I was looking at the pipeline while running on my chroot and they are only slow: in this machine I was able to build in 18 minutes.
Stefano, I had to enable verbose flag for pytest to just see that it was not hanging, I'm inclined to push the commit so I will not forget that some tests are actually slow. Thanks for your work on urllib3 packaging! :)
